The new SD Nomad A new look , still solid, more compact and always comfortable and fun to fly. Picture by Cyril Sansey High points with adjustable J-bars, for easier take-off as well as for more comfortable long distance flights. They are attached to the frame by two silent blocks, which contributes to reduce the engine's vibrations transmitted to the pilot. - Easy to start- Cruise control- Foot rest The SD Nomad easily breaks down. With this solid cage, it is possible to use the engine during inflation, without fearing to touch the lines, even with a trike. The adjustable J-bars are a new concept developed for the SD series. They are lighter, comfortable and practical. This new system incorporates the advantage of a high point of attachment with the ability to shift the pilots' weight and feel the glider in flight. Take-offs are still easy, and comfort on the ground is enhanced. Storage is easy, since both bars can be folded down during transportation. The bars are mounted on the frame, with vibration absorbing rubber, using a high grade bolt. This innovation allows for some lateral movement. Safety carabeneers are still used with shackles on the bars, to connect the risers. The adjustable J-bars are made from aluminum 6061 T 6 and offer different attachment points. Once in flight, they stay close to the pilot's shoulders, allowing freedom to move the head from side to side, without obstructing vision. Power and quality are blended in this paramotor propeller built by Massimo Rossetti (ROSMOTOR Engines, Italy) using the best materials.
