Any queries about the price , feel free to contact the Hrt Superstore in Melbourne.This is a really really regretable sale.  This is a race suit that I purchased from the HRT superstore in Richmond in Melbourne about a month after the end of the 2002 V8 supercar series.  This is the suit that Mark skaife was wearing when he and Jim Richards won Bathurst and Mark went on to win the Championship with 17 race wins and 7 round wins.  It was a domination by the Holden driver with 2227 points at the end of the year,  the next closest driver was Greg Murphy on 1569 points.  It was Skaife's 5th Australian Touring Car title.  Unfortunately Mark hasn't won another championship since then.  The son of a racer, Skaife started in go karts in his native New South Wales, before packing up and moving to Melbourne to complete his apprenticeship under Fred Gibson.A full time driver initially in works Nissans, Skaife won his first Bathurst in 1991 and first title in 1992, also becoming the Australian Drivers Champion along the way in open wheeler racing.Signed to replace the late Peter Brock at HRT in 1998, Skaife has become one of the true statesmen of the V8 Supercar category.
